Family Dedication

Family Dedication is a special time when you as parents give the child that god gave you back to His care. Before the church body, you promise to raise your child according to His will, understanding that you will always be his most influential teacher. In dedicating your child, you show that you commit to being a Christian role model through example and prayer, you promise to raise your child in the church, and you also ask your church family to pray with you for your child’s salvation.

Family Dedications are usually held the last Sunday of every third month – January, April, July, and October. Each child is recognized in front of the congregation and given a small gift. Because you are committing to making church a part of your child’s upbringing, we ask that your child have attended Sunday school at least four times before dedication.
